Alan is an accomplished technologist and adviser with more than 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field. Alan has architected, built, and improved secure systems for clients in the Commercial and Federal Government markets. He is well-versed in industry standards such as Information Technology Infrastructure Library v3 (ITIL), the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), and the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK), among others. His track record of consistent excellence has made him a subject matter expert (SME) in all areas of systems engineering, enterprise architecture, application design, information security, technical project management, and human factors in web, client server, and financial environments.
As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Alan focuses the use of his broad array of technical skills and expertise in project management disciplines to design, develop, and implement complex applications that meet the diverse needs of his clients. His previous work has successfully supported financial applications, knowledge management, project status and management, risk management, and other administrative systems. Currently, Alan leads Xcelerate’s efforts in supporting one of the Federal Government’s largest human capital management systems.
Alan is also the Director of Enterprise Technology at Xcelerate Solutions.
